We had an excellent outing at the 2024 Summer Biomechanics, Biofluids, and Biotransport Conference (SB3C) at the Grand Lake Geneva, WI.
Congratulations to Hannah Zhai and Yurui Chen for giving excellent poster presentations on multiscale modeling of blood flow and fluid-structure interaction in the aorta. Congratulations Lei Shi, for two great talks on creating personalized computational models of the left atrium and the stomach. Congratulations, Aaron Brown, for an outstanding talk on personalized biventricular mechanics. We are super excited that our new graduate student, Bryan Gan, won 2nd place in the undergraduate poster competition.
Columbia MechE department usually has a solid showing at SB3C. Congratulations to Myers and Ateshian lab attendees for presenting some genuinely outstanding work. It’s always fun to meet fellow students and colleagues from Marsden lab.
